We are running out of oil, farms, open spaces. Are we all to be environmental refugees breathing smoldering gases while searching for substanance? One hundred years ago people lived realitively decent lives without oil. What oil is left must be used wisely as it first will become prohibitivly expensive then fought over. There is NO magic bullet, neither bio-fules, nucular, or hydrogen will replace oil as our life style will be mandated to change. Who knows 100 years from now horses may again play a role in mankinds survival. We need to look back to go forward. We at the very least need to preserve a viable gene pool as found in our Wild Mustangs. One that is the product of natural selection and survival of the fittest.
